Children's Corner Moorlands is set in the beautiful grounds of Moorlands independant school. It is a private safe environment, in a leafy scenic setting. We offer full day care for babies and young children from the 0 to 5 years. Our aim is to offer high quality care in a convenient and flexible way. |
We are a 27 place nursery offering 12 baby room places and 15 over 2's places. In addition we also offer wrap around care and after school care for those children attending the Foundation Unit Moorlands. We also offer a holiday club for children in the Foundation Unit. We have two light and airy rooms, one for our babies and one for our over 2's. Both are fully age appropriately equiped and are welcoming and warm. Our staff are professional and caring, and most importantly love being with young children. Our under 2's have a secluded outdoor garden, an outdoor classroom provides shade in the warmer weather. Our over 2's benefit from a free flow environment, the doors to outside are always open and children enjoy learning in both environments. Our baby room

Children can, if they wish, attend Moorlands own school nursery from the age of 2 years or can stay with us if they do not intend to go to Moorlands school in the future. We work closely with the school to ensure a seamless transition for those children who leave our care to attend Moorlands foundation unit.
The nursery is a fun, friendly and safe place to be. We try to offer a flexible service to meet each individuals needs. We offer a range of activities to the children each day.
The nursery is open Monday to Friday 8am until 6pm. The nursery closes for the statutory bank holidays and the week between Christmas and New year. In addition to this the nursery closes for 2 staff training days, usually in June and December.
Fees
Full time - £200
Daily rate - £43.50
Half day - £26
Hourly - £6
We can now offer up to 15 hours FREE childcare each week for children the term following their 3rd birthday.
All fees are payable on 1st of the month for the month ahead. Fees can be paid via standing order or childcare voucher.
